Well some of the tracks on the mix are classics to my ears and many others (maybe not yours)... The mix series that we are focusing on shall include tracks from 1988-2008 so every so often down the months there will be oldskool house sets, oldskool trance sets, oldskool hardhouse sets, oldskool hardcore sets and sets with tracks all the way up to 2008. Chose the 2008 as the cut off point due to growing up through these years and DJing for 16 of those (Thought the 20 Years was a nice number) lol...
Maybe not your kind of classics set but plenty of others are quite interested in it...
001 was and oldskool hardhouse set
002 was an old classic trance set
003 is a classic set with tracks from 2002 to 2008 |

Signum - First Strike is an absolute classic (and the best track they have in their catalogue)
Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes is an absolute classic vocal track
Airwave - Save Me is an absolute classic trance track though we used our own rework as the original mix didnt fit in with the last end of the set ect, i could go on all day explaining...
Every person has their own definitions of what a classic is and most of the tracks on the mix are classics to my ears, if it aint your thing dont bother with the mix..
By the way what are your definitions of a classic, im very interested to hear your reply??? |
