Hey Guys,
I just sold my CDJS to this kid, and now he's emailing me saying that one of them doesn't have power all of a sudden.
I feel bad because it looks like I sold him junk, but the worked 100% when I had them. I've been trying to help him out, but I can't find anything which makes me think he must have damaged it during transportation. I duno, i know it's not my problem but I feel pretty bad about it.
Is there a common problem with the power supply blowing? That's all i can think of. |

A bit of a long shot.. but get him to try a different power source.
I used to have a ty numark mixer that was super sensitive to the power source it was connected to. It had to be connected to a reliable clean power source. It never worked in older houses with old power infrastructure.
Im no electrician, but id look at that as an option. |

| This is probably a long shot but, do the CDJ's have any sort of fuse in them? |

| Did you show him the units working before he bought them from you? |

Yes, they have a small glass fuse.
Tell him to open the thing up, and at the top, by the power switch you'll see a little silver and glass fuse. Pop it out carefully with something and look at the writing in the silver bit. Go to an electronics parts/hardware store and ask for one of them.
Pop it back in, switch it on, Profit. |
