Can anyone help?
How do I get rid of the two second pauses between each track when burning a CD using Nero?
Thanks. |

Use a cue file and burn it as one big track. Do a search on .cue files in the forums, there are tons of posts.
Just don't ask how to burn an album - TA doesn't condone downloading/burning albums... |

| or just right click and edit the "2 second pause" which will be set for each track as default. you will have to take each one out manually, it will say sumthing about not being able to to that, but it works trust me ;) |

The only time you will get the error is when you try to take the second pause out of the first track. Nero requires the first 2 pause, which is the puase BEFORE the music starts, for creating the opening text and coding for a music CD.
The rest of the pause you can delete by either using a cue sheet. Or if you have separeted a set into tracks then right-click on each track --> go to properties --> change the "2 second" pause to 0 (zero).
Just rememeber that the first 2 second pause is required and you will have to have it there.

| or if you are lazy li ke me and dont want to click on EVERY SINGLE TRACK... click with the mouse in the lower right corner, drag it to the upper left (basically, you are just selecting all the tracks at once)... then right click properties... change it to 0 seconds and youve just changed all of them, instead of each individually ;) |

Also good to know, with Nero & other programs, if you directly copy a cd click the option 'disc-at-once' instead of 'track-at-once', this leaves the pause out.

nice one, shouldn't have been so hard to think of!
Note that some older cd-recorders do not support this lack of the 2 sec pause, which means...u will either fail at burning or it won't be audible.
See for yourself, trial and error. |
