Video for slut walk by Karl (Nemissis), great job I thinks.
EDIT > 04/11/11 - Altered the kick and bass - is this better? Not pro mastered of course yet.

Hey hey,
I'd turn down the hihat panned to the left ear a bit. It's so present and in such a high range that it gets a bit of annoying.
I'd also turn up that high stab (that is in sync with those other stabbing chords around 3:00. It's harmonically really cool, but just not quite loud enough. just a smidgen louder would be cool.
Nice sound man. Not what I normally listen to, but I like it.
Apropos slut walk, did you go? I went to the one in Berlin - pretty cool!

Yeah pan that hihat to the center. It's too prominent on the left channel. Otherwise, solid . Nice for clubland.

Cheers you guys, have tamed that hat a bit and completely re- done the bass again and also added a key percussive element that starts part way into intro and features in the drop.
Trying to strive for perfection - maybe not on course, but we try.....
Remixed again this time using tiny standard 3 year old DELL pc monitors, personally I founb this to be very useful to getg a better mix, mad as that sounds.
Track in the posts above.

From listener perspective only (not technical analysis lol) - sounded really massively and full/rich of detail - very catch production man, really sweet.
Cheers,

this does sound nice rich, im not sure about the final master though, you may want to have that done. try it in a mix with a similar track.

Cheers guys, yeah I'm no masterer so that will be done by a pro.
Glad you liked it.
I found mixing on little consumer pc speakers a revelation. Still mix on proper monitors but will now always reference on ty speakers too.

I always check a mix on my little Creative Gigawork T40s. It's useful to listen on what is probably most representative of a lot of end user gear.

Just finished this at last - for once I feel it's of the standard we've been after and I actualy really like it. So there.
About the final version: I sincerely liked it!!! :)

Cheers - I might just tweak the bass a little, so it is rises and falls over it's cycle, in norder to get it sounding a little more dynamic rather than a 'wall of bass'.
Cheers for the kind message Mr Python (I always read it as Python for some reason).
