Anyone upgraded from Cubase 5 to Cubase 6?

| I just got it, but I'm in the middle of a project created in 5. There's some stuff in 6 I want to try out, but I'm not sure about a mid-project upgrade. Did anyone upgrade recently? Did you have any issues? |

That would be great if it did. Actually, that would be the smartest thing for Cubase to do, which is exactly the reason why I think they probably won't do it. They seem to like to make everything more complicated than it has to be.
I've got the added complication of using a Yamaha N-12. The last time I upgraded from 4 to 5.5 I remember needing a firmware upgrade. I seem to recall Cubase saying after the firmware install it wouldn't work with previous versions. To me, it doesn't look like Yamaha released a firmware upgrade since May, and I think I already installed that one, so I'm guessing that won't be an issue. |
