talked to pacha owner the other night - here's the lineup:
avicii - 9pm to 6am.
boris - 6am to noon.
calderone - noon to 6pm.
closing for 4 hours.
benassi/alesso dayglow - 10ish to i guess 4-5ish.
benassi after party at pacha. |

according to flyers and clubtickets.com
for afterhours is "Doors open 5am"
so 5 to noon sounds about right for boris
calderone on the other hand getting only 6 hours?
now thats some bull ha ha
guy has been playing marathon 10-14 hour sets every new years day for the past 6 years atleast, now they downgraded it?
i hope its not true
and lemme get this straight theres gonna be an afterparty for the dayglow party at pacha???

i'm just going by the overview he gave me when we were chatting. he definitely mentioned pier 94 was going to be closed for a few hours and that dayglow would start up after that. |

So anybody have a clue when this 'limited release' of GA tickets will be released this month?
Coming to NYC for a few days around NYE.......not so much interested in going but my female friends are OBSESSED with seeing him :conf: |

makes sense that it would close for a few hours before dayglow. Lots of prep goes into their show and I imagine they will be debuting their new theme/tour that night
And tickets are back on sale now. $100-150. most a dayglow event has ever cost. not worth it in my book but i guess your are not really paying for the talent. its more of a production. Used to be fun years ago. not sure how I feel about being doused in paint from head to toe now though. |

Pier 94 - 10PM...and he has to be in Niagara at 2AM. *This tells me only one thing: Save my money and wait for his next NYC visit. His set is going to be too short for the ticket price, even GA*

They should just let Calderone take over. Playing until 12:15 is bull since most people will never make it to the venue that early.

nah you will be suprised how many people show up
it will be a totally dif crowd and they are coming out for a full day of music
i really hope they give vc atleast 8 hours and not 6, guy is a beast on new years
and lol @ avicii spinning for like 2 hours then bouceing rofllll
$165 bucks a pop what a joke thats more than pvd at roseland a few years ago and how long did pvd play for atleast like 4 or 5 hours? |
