LFO Clips and Wobble in FL Studio

Hey guys,
I am working on getting the wobble effect down in FL Studio.
What I am doing:
I am using the OSC 3x plugin with triangle and saw waves (and one other that I am not familiar with) and using an automation clip with the LFO on the cutoff filter to give it the wobble effect.
The problem:
I am having trouble getting the wobble intervals at a good frequency with the control points in my automation clip: to where it is quantized with the tempo. It seems like if I set the control points to around 25 and 50ish percent that it sortof does what I want, but not quite...and it would be nice if there were a way to adjust the control point values incrementally, instead of using the cursor up and down.
Can anyone tell me the best way to do this? Should I forgo using an automation clip and use a different technique?

In Reason there is an LFO Sync button when depressed/activated allows you to modulate the waveform in time. I would look for something similar especially if your able to modulate using frequency. It should be somewhere reasonably close.
its also pretty cool to use the LFO to modulate the LFO's waveform.. you can get some pretty sick wobble doing that as well.. |

Since you're using the 3xOsc there is an easy way to do it.
Go to the INS tab and select the envelopes for the cutoff and turn up the amount.
Underneath in the LFO section, right click on the speed knob and you can set the timing of it. Just adjust both amt knobs to taste.
Alternatively you can use the formula controller and use a formula to do it. Or even the peak controller. |

Im pretty sure he wants to automate the lfo while still keeping it in tempo. But you cant do that with the 3xosc in FL |

Sako487: Thats why you right click on the speed knob. It brings up a context menu, one of them lets you set it by steps. You can set it from 1step to 128steps. Peak controller method is also good for keeping it to tempo. |

I know that, but you still can't automate in in the track while keeping the tempo perfect |

I don't know, I think I have it about perfect...
I have it set to tempo based and the control point values set to 17%, 25%, 28% and 32%, and it seems to be keeping tempo now, perfectly.
I could be wrong. |

Edit events instead of automation clips. Easier to keep quality control over your automation w/ edit events. |

1. Right-click the LFO speed knob
2. Select the desired option from the beat tab
3. Right-click the same knob again
4. Click "copy value"
5. Paste value onto the desired node on the automation clip the knob is controlled by
6. Right click on the following node and click 'Hold'. |

Since I end up bouncing all my individual parts to audio very early on I don't care about CPU, so that's why I use this technique:
1. Set the sync on the synth to whatever
2. Clone the synth.
3. Set the Sync on this instance to a different amount
4. Rinse repeat. |
