I write to you with great hope in being admitted to your vaunted organization. As a sign of respect, I write to you while wearing an official Vandit t-shirt. I have been a Vandit acolyte since the early days of it’s creation. Despite cruel mockery by my Phish-loving friends my allegiance has never wavered. I have tried in vain to drown out “Oops I Did it Again” with the sweet sounds of “Des Mitchell – Welcome to the Dance”. I bounce in my car as I proudly blast “Second Sun – Empire (Original Mix)” for all to hear. I have not let my relocation out of NYC stop me from basking in the glory that is Paul van Dyk @ Twilo, for you see, I flew back every other month for the next year and a half. I regret my shamefully command of the linguistic arts does not allow me to express my true devotion to all that is Vandit. (Business Major). It is my hope the below list of my credentials satisfies your selective Vandit criteria.
· Own all Vandit labeled records and CDs
· Vandit Brothers Alliance member
· Listen to something Vandit everyday
· Have a “Vandit Welcome” sticker on my laptop.
· Have a “Vandit Weclome” on front door (before leasing office forced me to take it down.)
· Framed Paul van Dyk autographs of Out There and Back CD, 45 RPM CD, Out There and Back LP
· Have converted a dozen friends to being Paul van Dyk fans
· Founder of #vandit on IRC.
· Registered Vandit, PvD, SecondSun nicknames on IRC before Starfox did.
· My birthday is on the same day as PvD @ Boston
· Doesn’t think Jam & Spoon – Be Angeled sucks.
· I pray 3 times each day towards the direction of PvD's next DJ venue.
· I was about 20 feet away from PvD at Sound Factory, NYC. ;-P
· The first word out of my mouth when I was a baby was something similar to 'Vandit'.
· I’ll give everyone a vinyl rip of Sun Decade – I’m Alone. :D
