They pay me to say that :P Seriously though, plus is much easier to use than the new facebook. They're getting rid of the Like feature next week and the timeline is so stupid, it's turning into everything that killed myspace |

What? Do you have an article? I couldn't find one on google so I think this is wrong... It's in their mock ups of the new timeline. There's no reason they'd put it there if they were going to drop it so fast. Also, "like" is completely integral to facebook at this point. Getting rid of it would make no sense. |

On the right hand side of your home page, it's called a Tracker/Stream/annoying box on the right side/Realtime Feed by some people.I saw a few people that I had blocked commenting on my posts earlier today and that's when I realized the whole privacy bull is as legitimate as a 3 dollar bill
Also from CNET: "TechCrunch's Leena Rao seemingly provides another piece to the puzzle by reporting that the well-known "Like" button will be joined by buttons reading "Listened," "Watched," and "Read." Rao also says Facebook will introduce a button friendly to social e-commerce--it'll be labeled "Want," and will debut sometime after the other buttons appear."

Cool. Thanks. I see what you mean. Personally, I wouldn't call it an ending to the "like" button but just a slight modification, as it could basically function the same as "like" but with context-sensitive text.
It does seem weird but its probably going to end up being pretty minor compared to the rest of the changes to facebook. |
