Something like that. Except I'd change "hate" to "hated", since the entire country was christianized along with the rest of Europe, and still is today. I choose to assume that was a typo, because I can't imagine anyone being ignorant enough to think Norway is some kind of anti-christian country. Except maybe extremely ignorant Americans.
Trolls weren't created as an anti-body to christianity though, it goes back way longer than that. The anti-christian ability was added to the troll folklore through the middle ages. The trolls originate from Norse Mythology. |
