What do you mean unless they have nothing left? Why would they have access to dog and no other food? Its served in restaurants who also have other things on the menu. The thing is - most people here feel the same way as westerners about eating dog. But they shouldn't get offended when I ask them , its a legitimate question.

In big cities, restaurants hardly serve dogs. I have only seen it once in Guangzhou (been there 7 months) but this was in poor street food booths. But I have seen people eating dogs in the poor countryside states (in Guangxi and East Yunnan), and it was only because they had no more chickens, or porks, etc.

Haha exactly. An excellent quality of weed btw, because Yunnan is pretty high (no pun intended), its average elevation is like 2000m.

Dude, that's crazy. It's definitely on my list of places to check out. So when you smoked there was it wild weeds that you just picked? Did you have to dry it first? That's the thing about China - smoking weed has never really caught on socially here (I wonder why?). That's why you can get away with sparking up in any bar or club because everyone is so oblivious that they don't even know what it looks or smells like.

The thing is, that in China if you get caught with 30 grams of drugs you are almost automatically sentenced to death. And this can be any kind of drugs. That's why most Chinese people only smoke cigarettes. You can find stuff in the countryside where you can freely pick it up (and then dry it, etc.) yet in certain cities (Dali in Yunnan for instance), local minorities people offer you weed.

Btw, the parties organized by the sons of the Party's local leaders were known to be the craziest ones in Guangdong. A friend of mine had been to one before I was in China and said everyone was high on K.

^^^Perhaps a westerner posting about it, online from China, where all the communications are monitored....

I mean if the 4Chan Party Van can crash a curious thrillseeker's party, Chinese would NEVER be able to achieve that level of sophistication.... Especially snooping on communications coming from places frequented by Westerners?

...nah...

...or is it possible...:clown:

I mean... if...

oh, nvm. You're cool. Carry on. Not like Karma would ever come back and bite you on the ass. Right?

I loved it when Assange said people should be aware that governments can use Facebook and the like to spy on people.

Yes, of course they can. But, unless you're some kind of terrorist who wants to overthrow the government, do you really think bureaucrats want to know how wasted you got Saturday night? In my case, what can the government tell? Oh, look, he's a linguist fascinated by breasts. I'm a guy, so the latter is redundant... and so is the former isn't any more informative, as the government funded my studies.

Most noids afraid of the government spying on them are like fat people afraid airport security will fap over their nudes.

Funny you should mention karma. A few months ago I was SERIOUSLY close to getting fuct. I won't go into details cause its a long story, but believe me when I say I had a legitimate 50% chance of getting thrown in jail (for I don't know how long). And I thought to myself - "I don't deserve this. All I wanted to do was get high. Whats the big in deal?" In situations like that Karma means nothing, when the punishment is utterly unjustified.
