| 6 hour set guys..none of us have seen an extended set from him since Tobacco Warehouse..after that was a 5 hour set at Pacha March 14th..when the snowstorm was here and he was banging..played Light At The End by Eco too i think lol..i have high expectations |

07 was Spirit wasn't it? That night was incredible. :crazy:
Edit: Actually you might be right. I'm thinking of the night when his plane went to DC and he was late getting to Spirit and ended up rocking the place. Not to mention, Jollins did a phenomenal job opening up the night. |

that was june 2005 at spirit
yea armin's plane got divertied to dc so i think he drove or took a train to nyc and was madd late ha ha he didnt even show up till like 4 or 5am but when he came on he was banging then him and remy went b2b for a while to me that was the highlight of the night
and yes jollins did a great job keeping the party goin before hand i enjoyed that set
the set g is actually talking about was like feb or march in 07
there was a bigggg snow storm along the east coast
i remember parking near pacha and only seeing maybe an inch of snow on the ground, but time i walked out of the club by car was under like almost a foot of snow ha ha i remember helping dig out g's car ha ha def sick times
but yea armin played a quality set that night |

I pretty sure I have that set. I remember listening to it on repeat a few years back. I miss the old Armin. |

| Jollins opened but he didn't play up until Armin came. It was some other guy that was...not prepared to keep playing as long as he did and wasn't that great. Forgot his name but he was mad ugly. |

| Has anyone been here?? I know Tiesto had a show here not too long ago, not sure about anyone else. Wondering if anyone has any reviews of the venue. They said the capacity is 10k, it better be a big place for that. I bought a VIP ticket just incase, it is always nice to have some breathing room in a place with that big of a crowd. |

Not an AMAZING set, but it's certainly not THAT cheesy. It's pretty much what I expected. Tack an extra hour on and place him into one of DCs largest venues and I'd expect it to be a little bit better, but not much.
Still, probably worth seeing. It'll be fun I'm sure, and much better than his rancid excuse for a set earlier this year in NYC. |
