Looks good! TA from the UK here, in town for a few days wasn't expecting a big trance night! so thinking of going. The Guvs a name I've always heard of so it'd be cool to take a look. Got a few questions so if anyone can give me some tips it'd be much appreciated...
- Will EVERYONE be dressed up? Have no halloween costume and probably no means of getting one as I wouldn't know where to start so don't want to stand out. Especially because...
- I'll probably be on my own. Is it a friendly crowd at the Guv? Any TA meetups?
- Am I ok to pay on the door? If not where's best to get them beforehand? And when does it get busy on the door?

1)Not mandatory to dress up and no dress code.
2)Hmmm,to be honest TA meet ups are a thing of the past from my experience (most of the time people just bump into one another on the dancefloor). Guv is a really large venue so it's difficult to summarize the crowd as a whole. You will find all kinds there; I'm sure you will bump into someone who is good conversation material.
3)Go to the Toronto event listings forum and check out this event. There should be guestlist info there. If not, you can def pay at the door although it will most likely be more expensive. |
