the party is a unused warehouse converted to yoga studio in a part of town that is getting gentrified by late 20s health/art type folks. the owner of the space is a noise guy associated with american tapes/wolf eyes.
I am playing the first DJ set after the bands are finished with some dark & spacious stuff, a few spooky groovers (repeat orchestra - i know the darkness [portable remix] is in there), and quite a bit of heavier stuff. after me will be more intersections between 2step/funky and techno, and then later on miami bass/jungle for the close
this time we are booked by a new promoter who found this space that is owned by one of our friends (he recommended us to DJ the party) but we've been promoting events in the area for about 5 years
