The only decent djs that have been here since summer are Nick Curly and when Luciano comes....
There is so much bulll with photo people taking pics when ur trying to enjoy a set, then promoting the next party with the stupid pics.
Promotors have been bringing the same ty djs that have a cool name for a while now, wtf!
Where the is Jamie Jones ? or Tania Vulcano? Guido Snider? Seth Troxler?
Who the is Avicciii?? or who cares? Swedish House Mafia? them!
I was at some stupid after party and some dude is like "have u heard the new amazing song from Swedish House Mafia?" WTF

The DJs and producerrs out of Toronto are amazing right now, but thats all we have, no one else comes! |

Step #1 go do something that makes you happy. Cause happy drunk beats pissed off drunk any day of the week.
Step #2 broaden your horizons, Toronto gets tons of decent DJs. Just look at what Platform has done in the last couple months + doing in the next couple months.
Step #3 travel if you're tired of the scene here and need a change. MTL is 5 hours away, NYC is 8. They both get tons of selection and offer a different scene. Detroit aint far and judging from the DJs you listed I'll assume you hit DEMF...

I'll half agree with this. It's not at every party though. When an event has one photographer its all good, the problem is when you have 3-4 event photographers all working the same night.

I'm sure Jones, Seth, and Schneider will be here eventually. Seth and Schneider especially, I'd say they make it here once a year. It's closing party time in Ibiza, so its not like they can have a North American tour scheduled right now. And as for Tania Vulcano, she never plays North America, so thats not going to happen. Your best bet to see her on this continent is to hope she plays circoloco @ WMF this year. |
