| Haha, god that'd be a long time out. FA might be so automated by then they wont need me. I wish this was the 1980s :p *goes back to reading old issues of FAMAG* |

No, this will be a new position. We need to add a resource in order to do some load leveling and ensure we hit our targets through efficient handling. As the saying goes... many hands makes light work. |

lol no i just think it's funny when people use being in school as an excuse not to work... at least part time. it's better for your resume when you graduate and teaches you time management. wasn't bragging, rather was pointing out the other dude's laziness. |

i managed to pay for part of my education with freelance design work and regular deejaying, but the truth is my program left me with next to no time at all for it. 2 all nighters a week was common, and it was typical to be in studio til 2-3 am every night. a lot of the other students sought jobs in the labs and shops - CAD, metal, wood, laser, mill - so that they could actually use their position to get a leg up on studio work. |

| Why would anyone work if he doesn't need to? |

now i'm strictly speaking for college students here. if you're an adult and you don't have to work then tell me your secret. |

| I agree on the time management thing and not being a lazy, poor ass. But I refuse to do anything because it looks good on my resume. That's a terrible motivation. It's like enlarging your breasts in order to find a better boyfriend... wait, can I still change my opinion? |

i dunno, i think it really helped me personally. the economy was especially bad when i graduated, and i was lucky enough to have a resume with some work experience.
yay for big boobies. |

| I bet you were hired because of your boobs and not because of the work experience. :p |
