Not done with work yet and it's sold out. So I can't even attend. Trying to act like it's not happening tonight, since I have been out of town every time A&B has played at Ruby before and I'm really bummed that I'm still missing out even when I'm here. Gotta admit that I'm bummed!
I always love the atmosphere A&B brings, even when their sets aren't up to par. Atmosphere usually makes up for it.
Oh well, it's life. Can't let it hold me back. |

| Hardest I've seen A&B spin, ever. The setup included their own large projection screen with the usual graphics related to Group Therapy but they also projected an image from the camera that was pointed to the crowd in the middle. With their projected messages before each track(including a tribute to Steve Jobs), their hard, driving set, and the CO2 machine blasting cool air often, the crowd was going nuts the entire night. They spun from 12:15 to 2:45, I believe. It didn't feel like a Thursday night. They put on a great show. |

| Been hearing a rumour that all three are on tour for tonight in Houston. Can anyone confirm whom was spinning from A&B last night? |

Was it there own? Or did Ruby install a new one (Tiesto is coming. They like to install new stuff shortly before a DJ like Tiesto shows up). |

Good question. It isn't the usual RS projection above. I assumed that A&B brought it but I do vaguely remember a similar setup at RS before for maybe Tiesto. It was set up right behind the DJ booth. You would know better if RS has something like that. |

it was a rented LED wall we brought in for this particular show :)
looked really great. should have some videos coming shortly. |

I have to say, it's a a HUGE BUMMER that it was rented.
SF clubs are behind in getting LED walls installed. It's the norm in every other market. Makes SF feel a little behind, when SF should be on the forefront. And Ruby should be taking that lead! :)
Maybe Ruby's setup and other event types are a big reason why. I dunno; I'm just looking at this from a clubber's POV. |
