Most of the dubstep I've heard is too... let's say sludgy. Skrillex is kind of the reason dubstep is being laughed at, and it's a shame since there's a lot of really good dubstep out there. He are a few of my favorites:

Yes and no. On the one hand, it's pretty removed from the original Dubstep sound and could be classified as 'post-dubstep' or 'future garage' but on the other hand it still kind of belongs to the whole overarching Dubstep movement/scene.
