Of course, I just said he tried to make it fit his style. Its a bit of a difference. Thing is listening to the 4 hours from the Armin Only in Space, Ibiza at least 2 and a half hours of it was very house based and commercail and this remix wouldnt have sounded out of place in amongst it.
He obviously would have been normal Armin for the last 3-4 hours but the bottom line he has this commercial style in his bow now and he will play and produce it to keep in with a more deewbish crowd sadly. Being number one in DJ mag unfortnately brings that pressure and it might be better if Guetta took it from him then he could concentrate on the sound he himself wants to play (ie UR5 style), instead of what some of the crowds that are coming to see him want. |

Its the true follow up to Timmus - Symphonica, just fantastic energetic, techy bassline and a neverending building melody. So good. |

Well he said Guetta asked him and he prob got paid a fair bit to do it. Or Armada told him he had to do it. Either way its clearly for the commercial floors. No way would he play that in a club in Europe.

yes, and the next step is to follow Tiesto... :haha: |

I honestly dont think Armin would just drop trance completely to play commercial electro house and party music. He professes too much love for proper true trance for that to happen. The likes of A&B, Tiesto etc never professed such a love out in the open as they always had ambitions that outweighed their own personal taste.
If Armin did do it, well I would be far more shocked than what Tiesto did. It would basically show that everything Armin has done or said about his fans and stuff to be a total lie. |
