This just looks like a music festival with a higher ratio of degenerates than normal.
But in all seriousness, did anyone else think of PLUR when watching this :D

i have a feeling much of what this scene is about more focused around drug use using the juggalo term to legitimatize their gatherings common narrative. Kinda like how raves in the USAs ended up. At one point you had a lot of unique smart people that sure , did drugs but it ended up at some point at least when i was around it to be a place for idiots to get high. And fat girls that wanted to get ed. Now there is a ing paradox. The overweight raver.
Switch the music to EDM and the crowds are kinda similar. For certain types of events anyways.

Yea the 24/7 raver thing was rather ing tedious. At least they didn't hang out in parks though mugging people...

it is a shame tho. I think when something becomes a niche scene, you tend to just get similar people and what made raves great when i went was that you would see anyone and everyone there just to have a good time. Sure everyone was on drugs, but you would meet people that were working on their PHD and it was interesting. I think there are waves and it sort of happens with every new generation. The people that stay are usually the loser drug addict that has nothing better to do and a very small portion of people that like the music and like dancing. I will say that in the last 10 years of going say once or twice a year, people are just getting really really bad at dancing. Like it is just a flail fest of ed up degenerate career criminals.

Juggalos are far more like a cult, though. They round up these people from all over the country, corral them into a few square miles, and keep them buying only ICP brand soft drinks (Faygo) and their line of Psychopathic Records merchandise. Right, it's probably not essentially different than any given corporate theme park or festival, but the cult of personality they attempt to garner and appeal exclusively to the downtrodden and "outcast" is far more akin to, ah, . Christianity.
Here's footage from the first Gathering of the Juggalos:

I think the worst part of it was that lady who was smoking a cigarette while pregnant talking about how she was going to raise her child in the juggalo "Village"
Poor kid.

Love how they hired a Don Lafontaine clone to do the voice over.
Naught by Nature and Method man made me go huh. I thought this was a white person thing. And those struggling actors they got to do the talking don't seem like juggalo material. Seems the juggalo culture goes deeper than I thought. lol
