...can't producers find new vocalists? Seriously. Have seen the same vocalists over the years
She's used in so many tracks , it's overkill. At this point, her voice is just annoying.

PS. I honestly think EDM (mainly trance and other high BPM genres) producers have the worst ear for good voices. I laught when they actually mention how great some horrible vocalist's voice is...Most of them would be considered a joke as singers in other genres. They would never get past the producer and be in front of the judges on shows like American Idol or X-Factor. Just imagine how much better vocal tracks could be if the singers were actually good singers!?!?!? :P |

Kyau & Albert is a good example of this. When it was just simple one liners or chants it was cool but not a fully constructed vocal song... |

this is precisely why some of my favorites are one who only are featured on are records each year. i.e. Jennifer Rene, Kirsty Hawkshaw, Meredith Call, Jonathan Mendelsohn... |

Agree, alot of vocalists just seem like they do whatever work comes to them because theyre a recognized name.
I swear, there are seriously Over 9000 different crap generic trance tracks with Tiff Lacey doing vocals... as if that will make your lame tune any more better or popular cuz you have some recognized name attached. Cheap.
I'll be the first to say I really dislike Audrey Gallagher's vocals too. So squeaky annoying like a chipmumk. Please, leave that to Happy Hardcore.
Vocalists I do respect... Justine Suissa. At least she choses wisely with whom she works with. She is a respected legend in my eyes!
Another favorite is Andrea Britton. Her voice works great for trance.
As for Kyau & Albert, i've grown used to hearing Stephen's vocals... thats how you know its a KvA tune!! and it works great for them!! |

| The only vocalist I like is Susana and that's because of Shivers (MORPH remix of course). Her voice was like an angel in person at Armin Only. Plus I was on a good one that night lol. But vocal trance, it ruined the genre. Trance is starting to turn into cheese like back in 04 |

i like nadia ali and think she actually has an interesting/different/sad voice that makes her stand out from the rest.
anywho, i hope producers continue to use her as the go to vocalist for edm.

just fyi, people say this every single year in a slight variation
although, myself, i havent checked beatport's trance section in a long time. i just cant find music that clicks with my anymore, especially on the charts. most the artists i use to frequent arent making songs anymore |
