Unfortunately there was a corporate event booked that last's till midnight and there would be no way to flip it in time. It was supposed to be ATB. |

WTF? eleven50 hosted lots of amazing dj's thanks to devin but that is such a venue. always has been. slap the bar right in the middle of perfectly good dance space so that everyone can crowd it for drinks leaving zero room for dancing. not to mention the overall feel of the crowd that went there regularly were just there to get drunk and try to pick up girls, probably had no idea who the dj's were. eleven50 = :whip: |

Nah, i'm married and been with my wife for 10 years, met her at an EDM event actually so i'm not trying to hate on anyone, people can go to these events for whatever reason b/c they are ultimately spending money and supporting what little of a scene we have here and we need all the support we can get. but when there isn't much room to dance in relation to the size of the crowd and most of the crowd is kind of questionable like based on what i see, they may not be there for the music. then i'm not a big fan of the crowd at that venue.
but you're right, i've been married for a while so i just go to listen to good music and dance and chill with friends if any show up. i'm not going in predator mode. |

This is the most depressing thread i read in a while!
I moved to NYC from Atlanta a couple of years back - remember some pretty epic nights at eleven50 with a&b and less epic ones with oakenfold. Isnt it Opera now or am i outdated?
And the great Tiesto Fiasco... Im sure it was a good show, never got into the conference center.. Took off when the riot police showed up. Good times :)
