My 30th b day is on the 25th :) will send ya an invite. Hope you can make it ;) Jay will be spinning there as well hehe |

This sounds really interesting.
Do they really "screen" the people who apply for tickets?
Like do they google their name or something?
Maybe they use google image and say "uh, no - guy should be on jersey shore... pass"
Seriously though what's their process with this? |

I emailed Paul at Mad Not Mad ask how they selected people and he emailed me back right away. Props!
They use social media to filter out the real fans of the DJs that are spinning. They also try to ensure that friends of friends are invited and that 50% of the crowd are girls.
I can understand why they do this....the club scene in nyc has been ruined by bottle service, douche bags and tourists. If you go to a Black Market party its full of dudes....so they do have a point.
I'm still waiting for my invite....they just announced MANDY will be spinning too so now I really to be there! |
