| What are your opinions on US radio stations playing Trance? US radio is playing Trance now more than ever (well some tracks anyways). Cheese or not, it's trance (although I don't like the cheese, it's the premiere way for getting someone transformed into a trance addict; I should know, I started the same way :) ). Anyways, I couldn't believe my ears when my local station just played Da Buzz - Let me love you tonight (Extended), which I must say is pretty good comparing it to the original cheese crap. I think Trance should stay underground, but every once in a while I'd like to hear a good track or two... :) |

Over here in the San Francisco bay area, Oakenfold owns(or part owns) a station called 92.7 Party. All they play is commercial dance, trance, house music. Oakenfold often does long DJ sets on it (not cheese, but good stuff). So for the most part it is cheese, but one out of every five songs is great.
Also, pretty much every local college radio station around here has non-stop multiple hour trance shows where you hear our favorite trance addict style tracks. If you listen at almost any point in the day you can hear a cool Live mix set from a local DJ.
Also, many major radio stations have Real trance and house sets late at night. Live 105.3 Subsonic is one of them.
The radio play of trance has really improved over the last years. You can tell that times are changing. |

They should not play trance at all.
Like hearing Paul van Dyk on Energy Radio..ugh..it would turn mainstream if they started playing it.
And the stuff they play now...
:D |

| Turning my head towards progressive and deep trance more these days personally and that would never go mainstream. |
