Hey man,

Kick sounds a bit flabby, needs some eq work to remove some muddyness and some compression just to tighten it up a bit. Percussion and bass work well together.

Nice FX going on, synth that comes in is quite good. The lead that comes in sounds alright but everything is quite central at the moment I think things could be panned further away from each other to let the track breathe a bit more.

Chords are alright chances are I don't like them because I am over hearing massive chords. They sound pretty good though. I don't really know where the track is going, it didn't feel as if there was an obvious build up and I didn't know when the climax is. Sounds pretty good when the lead comes in but I think the lead could have more reverb and depth, so maybe give it more reverb and delay or some more release.

Overall it is a pretty decent track, I think you should focus on the arrangement more so that the build up to the climax and the climax itself is more obvious. Also I would work on cleaning up the mix taking it from a good mix to a really clean crisp mix.

Hope that helps :)

Thanks for your input! Greatly appreciate it! I'm also having bit of trouble getting the mix up to proper level. I'm using a small amount of eq as well as a L3 Ultramaximizer on the stereo bus, and it's hitting -0.1 db most of the time, but the loudness compared to other tracks is not high enough. I was thinking that compression might help but it's just creating a distorted messy mix. Any tips on the mastering process?
