A star performer on Anjunadeep this year, Matt Lange continues his 2011 trailblazing with his fourth release on the label - following tracks like the brilliant "Rift" and his Above & Beyond-endorsed "Bad Year Blimp".
Showing off a more twisted side to his musical character, this latest single kicks off with the glitchin', clicking tech-house groover "That Much Higher".
Leading with twitchy tech tweaks and cyborg bass growls, "That Much Higher" keeps shifting through the gears before leading into a deeply musical and beautifully leftfield breakdown - even dropping into a smooth breakbeat section. Balancing irreverent musicality with dancefloor intensity, "That Much Higher" is arguably Lange's most innovative Anjunadeep outing yet.
Another inventive tech track, "Nutclap" takes a twisted, percolating tech groove and unravels it over 6 gloriously deep and hypnotic minutes. Lange's innovation goes further still as he samples the sound of cracking walnuts to punctuate the entire track and give it its name.
