| Hey atheists, if Yggdrasil doesn't hold up the worlds, what prevents them from falling into the Ginnungagap? Norse faith: 1. Atheists: 0. |

| Im not an atheist or agnostic. Im a firm believer of logic. Logically prove to me that god exist and he created the universe and I will happily call myself a christian. |

Then you are, by definition, an atheist agnostic. Unless if you think you've found evidence of the non-existence of god, which would make you an atheist gnostic.
| quote: | | An atheist agnostic is someone who does not believe in gods and also thinks that the existence of gods cannot be known. This might mean that they don’t believe in gods because they haven’t seen any evidence that supports their existence. |
| quote: | | An atheist gnostic is someone who does not believe in gods, and who thinks that we can know that gods do not exist. A fairly unusual position, they might think they have found proof of the non-existence of gods, or might have been persuaded by life experiences. |
It's funny how Americans have this twisted view on what an atheist is, mainly because of how the media have portrayed it. You're (plural, not singling you out here) scared to admit you're an atheist because you don't know what it means. (I actually just assumed you were an American, but checked after writing this.) |

If god in the biblical sense was scientifically proven to be existing, I'd actually become a satanist. Or at least wage war against this supreme diety while also assuming satan was working for this malevolent being. |

Like an atheist, I am a free thinker, evolutionist and naturalist. But an atheist believe they know that theres no god. Im open to the possibility that there is a god. Infact im ready to be converted, baptized and become religious but unfortunately theres no empirical or logical evidence to back up the claims in the bible and that theres a god with a white beard, white robe who created the universe 6000 years ago, then the earth in 7 days, then a man and a woman in an instant and now sits in the clouds and tailors to every fallen person by either sending them to heaven or hell. Till then im proud to say im non-religious that doesnt believe in myths and fairy tales. |

Did you read what was written in the text I quoted? You're an atheist agnostic. What you're describing as an atheist is the "atheist gnostic", which, like the text explained, is a relatively rare position. Most atheists are just like you, an atheist agnostic. They know what they know, and choose to not believe. Atheism is simply the absence of belief that any deities exist.
I know your upbringing with all the religious nutbaggery in the states have left you a little 'damaged', but come on. If you're a free thinker and know how to read you should be able to grasp this simple concept. |
