Best track of ASOT, as always, classic of the week!

Good memories with this track.

Hope this night David Guetta will win the poll of djmag and armin returns to his underground sound. This will be good for Trance.

this is cheese? lol

The Witch is actaully very good release, but Lift is total cheese. Don't mean't it's bad doh, really good mixture of some proper trance and bangin modern uplifting, but nowadays uplifters are very generic and uninspired.

me personally i think enhanced, infrasonic, defcon, mystique music
are pretty much quality releases for the most part
Coxx
now if Super8 - Cre8 (Original Mix) were on the album it could of been the
ASOT radio classic just saying!

Well, either Armin can go more commercial or go more underground, I think he'll pick the first option.

exactly this is huge for trance right now
armin def has a big audence and such
he can decide to bring back good trance music to the masses the way he once did it
or he can continue to be a sell out

Wchich won't be good for him, bewcause Guetta is bigger sellout than Armin. I hope he knows that.

yea but thats why armin probly did the remix for him
he know's guetta is too big for him to win at this point so he might as well join him in makeing pop stuff

In all this talk about Armin should go back or do this... music and people evolve. Jay-Z said it best, "[People] want my old stuff, buy my old album." I understand that at the heart of trance, his old sounds are closer to what the heart of trance WAS, but people have to realize that music evolves and with it, the artist/dj has to evolve too. We may not always like it, but you have to remember that they are an artist and a fan of music as well. Simple and plain, also, if he starts to like a certain sound and a lot of his fans/listeners like a certain sound, he'll play that. Why? You give the people want they want to hear. Considering that I just saw him twice recently, he has A LOT of fun with the crowd and gets everyone bumped up and interacting/dancing. A sellout doesn't give a damn about their crowd. Just my two cents. Not a flame or anything, but I hear these arguments about "the good ol days" vs what major DJs are playing now and they don't really make sense to me from a musical fan standpoint and just seeing how music is mixing a lot.

P.S. While I'm pretty Mr. Mainstream/Crossover will win, I still HATE Guetta and his LIVE set at EDC was garbage. Still, I don't see this as some sign of the "Fall of Armin". Even Jordan lost an MVP race from time to time. ;)
