Getting my drunk on.
The bassdrum stutters into Nexus is just bad. The chord progression, melody and counter point would sound great on piano. The instruments are just cheesed out though. The presets from nexus require processing, your own chorus, etc. These are out of the box. The vibe is present though, kind of uplifting and carefree. Apparently you can compose and write music. The actual production is very bland though. The mixdown passes as acceptable yes, but the sound design is very bland and lifeless. Needs way more energy and finesse and style. |

| I think a slower track like this needs a playful bassline riff. You could try replacing the drone bass with a pad instead and come up with a somewhat funky house bassline. |
