Aylonetic Sounds - New Website Design; Tell me what you think!

Hey everyone!

So, I started a small business selling my own soundsets that I made for Sylenth1 to fund money to go to college a couple years ago. I am now a senior in high school, and my site is at the stage where it's converting from my personal sound designers page, to a full blown soundset distribution with various designers working for the site. I just got done creating the site, and would love it if you guys could help me out and review it. Your feedback is most important!

Thanks again! :)

Michael

Change the header+nav to absolute positioning so you can take the scrollbar out of the middle screen and use the regular vertical scrollbar. More user friendly :). That scrollbar there adds nothing.

The thing is that I want the header and footer to be stationary, while the content scrolls between. The only way I could have thought of doing so would be to create a scrolling div in the content section, leaving the header and footer in place.

That is why I gave you the positioning pointers: to solve that problem ;)

I made a mistake though. The header and footer should have position:fixed; instead of absolute.

this is like a geocities website, except worse.

is it the fact that i used tables and images? :p

EDIT:
i believe it is because you do not like the minimalist style. some people will, some people may not. i had the option to make the site full blown elegant, but wanted to make it simple and this is what turned out. i did get the same response from a couple people, but a large margin say that it looks great this way.

it's currently almost finished, but it's just the fact that it's empty for now. i'm in the process of getting sound designers, so it'll be filled with news and stuff once finished.

I like the layout, for the most part, but the scroll bar kind of clutters the view, as it's too close to your product banners (or whatever those do-hickeys are called).

I'm not THAT old!
