$60, this is ridiculous!
I like going to ruby skye due to it being my fave venue, really dislike nights like this, happened in february too with paulie jersey style.
heard great things about SJ + RM here on TA, looking forward to them the following night. |

MATH FACTS:
ingrosso played ruby nov 5,2010 and it was 1/3 the cost, so he must be 3 times as good now?
or playing 3 times as long?
or maybe the opener(alesso) is 3 times as good as last years opener(alain octavo)?
Madison square garden show ticket cost was around the same price, but that includes axwell, ingrosso, angello,+ other guests and its MSG, so its a special occassion. |

| lol at your math..if that's true, avicii was free in december...just recently he sold out both shows, tix were $50+..so he must be like 500% times better than before??? idk hahah but yeah $70 is ridiculous for alesso/sebastian...their hollywood palladium show is $45 =\ |

You failed to state some HUGE FACTS...
The show took place december 25
December 25 is also referred to as "christmas"
"christmas" is commonly known as a gift giving holiday.
You can chalk it up as Merry christmas from ruby skye!
BOOM! |

What is the capacity difference between RSkye and the HPalladium as I would suspect that one business driver is they try to achieve a per/avg head price based on capacity.
Isn't 60$-$70.00 the same as the charged for Tiesto? AND if you average it out its $30.00-$35.00 dollars a DJ since this is Alesso and Sebastian?
Yeah its pricy especially seeing Axwell at #TheWarfield tickets opened at just $35.00 but then again its a large capacity venue...
Thought comments welcome...
Oh yeah...From SF to NY...I will be at both events as well as SHM@MSG :-) |

Wonder how packed tonight will be. |

I don't have any control over presale costs -- I imagine Ruby does. He's the type of DJ who brings out the spenders. Those who are willing to pay the high prices.
Everyone can complain, but in the end it's business and it's for-profit so the goal is to make the best experience possible while making the most money possible.
When I was younger, I'd sit here and complain and be annoying. But, today, I understand so I don't complain about it anymore.
(this post is of my own accord and NOTHING to do with any involvement I may have with any group, person, club, street, porta-potty, or anything).

It's definitely a free country and they can charge what they want. For my money, I'll wait and see John Acquaviva, Olivier Giacomotto, and Nikola Baytala at Mighty next week for $10! It's going to be killer.

Ingrosso just tweeted (about five minutes ago) that he's stuck down in LA because of weather. Can't even get a private jet.
He still has time to get on a plane though and get here and then straight to Ruby. But won't be starting at midnight if he does make it, that's for sure....
Will still head to Ruby at least for a bit. sometimes these turn into great parties becuase the crowd still shows up. It will depend on who they get to fill in. |
