Hey just wondering what your thoughts are on mounting a mic to my desk, i only want it for speaking some things or two or three, but what pre cautions do i need to be aware of, like feedback etc,

Thanks heaps

I wouldn't mount it permanently, get a desktop stand.

Me being as ghetto as I am I recommend putting a folded t-shirt under the mic instead. It'll reduce sound and won't make a lot of noise if you hit your desk while recording.

That was the thing i noticed when having it just in the room, i could hear myself hiting record or whatever. I wil send the output to headphones and record my vocals in that way i think also. then play back through monitors. I'll get a c clamp (one i can adjust/remove stand to mount to my desk then. :tongue2

a t shirt - nice!! how about some napkins that i bring home from eating out :toocool:
