Hello everybody.
Please think about "trance".....-> nature, landscapes, oceans, shores, forest, sundowners, ice, crystals, wide fields and so on. You know what I mean. Make a walk through beautiful landscapes and then, start producing trance music again.

You're probably the only one. |

Well, partly true, but without the dance part trance would not be like we know it now or even 15 years ago.
Trance got more popular because of dancing in clubs on it. |

YOU can turn that trend back to the good old times! Its YOUR
Turn! Here and now. Make a new start! Go to your studio and create the sound "new", which you have loved, as you began with producing music. Trance Music.

The producers I know, which also are about my age probably will laugh about this. Go to your studio and make some old stuff, right...
In the good old times there also was an awful amount of ty tracks. I hated those as they made me spend too many hours in the record shops listening... |

Hello everybody.
This is a genuine real statement to the TRANCE producers all over the world! It's also a statement to all the music producers, who call their sound "Trance". Please read this very carefully! Thank you in advance.
...
Most of you are in the trancescene for years now, some of you even for decades. You know, the main element of quality TRANCE-Music is the mixture of Rhythm and amazing melodies, which make you dreaming, diving-in, thinking and....at least dancing. But "dancing" is NOT the main element of TRANCE-Music! It's the HARMONY! The SPIRIT!
In the last few years the so-called modern TRANCE-Music had become to something strange like "electro-stomping-bassmusic with some short-melodic frequencies". But that isn't the philosophy of TRANCE-Music. Its the melody, the breaks within the songs and the build up of wonderful melody in combination with Beats - and NOT vice versa.
I implore you: PLEASE..don't let Trance-Music becoming to an "dead-end".
Please think about "trance".....-> nature, landscapes, oceans, shores, forest, sundowners, ice, crystals, wide fields and so on. You know what I mean. Make a walk through beautiful landscapes and then, start producing trance music again.
Please stop those trends like big-bass-influence-electro-house-"trance"-tracks. Thats not the world, where trance lives. You know about electro-house or dubstep, its okay, but its not traditional-trance....Its HOUSE or ELECTRO....but not trance. If you want to produce those sounds, dont call it "trance" please.
Okay, please dont missunderstand me - I enjoyed the times, as trancemusic and electrohouse became an fusion (it was back in 2006, 2007 or also 2008 and a bit of '09) but nowadays...its too often more crap than quality. Its only bass & beats now. If you listen to songs from originally famous trance-shows you could figure it out how often trancemusic was really replaced into a crappy mixture electrohouse and bass. But what about pure trance?? Real-Trance?
...Please accept TRANCE as it is!

Please think about it...I repeat...THINK about it ! ! ! I appeal to you all. Legends and Newcomers.
Thank you for your attention. I hope I could "actuate" something in the general meaning of trance music today.
Cheers

I really have the urge to smack you in the face.

Dance 2 Trance was not trance it's just a ty dance act. Can't stand listening to any Dance 2 Trance track whatsoever. They really made much better things (not much but better) under their The Peyote guise. |

| Dance 2 Trance certainly weren't great, but I don't know how you can argue with We Came In Peace ('91 Mix). One of the most beautiful pieces of electronic music ever, in my opinion. |

I wonder if you would have the same opinion about Dance 2 Trance if you were around 16-20 in 1993.
Probably the same for Jam & Spoon, Tokyo Ghetto and Storm then. |

| We Came in Peace is just horrible and I don't know why people swear by it. Union Jack, for one, were much better. Much hated Cygnus X too. |
