In other words: house and techno. Yeah, you really listen to the full spectrum of music. And I really don't understand your point about "two or three years ago". New labels and artists are starting up all the time, and most of them do not have any guarantee of making any money, so there's a high chance more and more music will be digital only. I know of several techno/dub techno labels that are digital only. I think your problem is you only listen to fairly well known music, you don't seem to realise there's a whole world of music out there that you cannot own physically.
Eventually, you might have to make a decision about whether you like owning records, or like owning music. |

That may be true. In the meantime have you heard this Flemming 100th radio show whatever mix? One of the best mixes I've ever heard in my life. I'm awe-struck. |

I mean, I've seen some EM's where the music inside wasnt available until 6 months or a year later, but this set in terms of not being able to find jack squat in physical format (not even a CD?) is beyond anything I've ever come across. |
John have always been known for playing alot of whitelabel stuff, some which till this day haven't been identified. For instance the infamous Angkor track from his 2001 Essential mix. Check it out!
The same was when he released Whitelabel Euphoria http://www.discogs.com/John-00-Flem...a/release/64489
When that CD came out some of the tracks wouldn't be released until several months later. The two Digital Blonde tracks are till this day still unreleased.
P.s. you might want to check my Stockholm syndrome mix if you are into this type of progtrance. http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...55&referrerid=2 |

Thanks that's the kind of on the sneak info I need. I'll check your mix in due time but to be honest I can't stop rewinding to the part around 18:15 in the J00F 100th radio show mix. That combination of sounds gives me the power to run through brick walls. I get the same rush out of that that I used do during my german hard trance early days ing nordic-tracking at 142bpm up in NYC like it was the thing to do.
Edit, and those strings at 18:45, my god in himmel. |
