A nice leather jacket for this autumn would be cool. Dark caramel or all black would be great.

my thoughts are that it's about being practical. I do a fair amount of things outdoors, walking the dog, cycling, hiking and I walk instead of using public transport since I live in the vicinity of the centre of my hometown, so I'm more likely to need protection from rain/wind. Some of the 'smart' coats aren't always waterproof or good when you have a muddy dog throwing her paws at you (they don't call them springer spaniels for nothing) so it's useful to have something that works for the job. Windproof, Waterproof and Actonproof.
God damn it Ian... i do nothing but walk from my car to a restaurant/class/shop/bar/train. I dont need to be insulated against Mt. Everest climate. I can suffer a little cold if it looks good.

I hate northface, like i hate you and your face and your mum and your dog walking and your hiking and your... mmmmmm england weather?

What the is this even supposed to mean? What does that have to do with being uneducated or trying too hard? And seriously, what objective criteria of judging clothing are you implying here? Am I supposed to disregard my own taste and a bunch of unprompted compliments from a variety of people? What do you do, send a picture of yourself into a fashion magazine and get extensive written feedback from a panel of fashion critics to decide whether or not you've made a good purchase?

You're an absolute ing moron Ian, you really are. At least Lunar is just bantering.

My original post was that the majority of people I see wearing it are the idiots on the streets who do nothing at all with their lives and talents (if they have any). Whether or not you have one, that's still true. You then bring up the fact that because you have a masters degree and you like it, that my point is totally invalid, firstly taking my original generalisation too seriously. I'm pretty sure that since you don't like me you'd disagree with every single thing I ever post for the sake of it. If you actually knew me like Acton & others do you;d know that I have no sense of fashion anyway, I just wear what I like and what's comfortable or in the case of this, practical.

Mario, of course you hate our weather, you'd be unemployed from doing our gardens for 5 months a year when it's too wet :p LeeAnn at least appreciates me, therefore she & scott are my favourite ATLta's :gsmile:

Don't you live in ing Bolton? Everyone you see on the streets is like that. Come out into the wider world and you'll find that, like all popular clothing brands, Superdry is worn by a wide variety of people.

Whoa, cool sites, thanks Bas!

I always get jackets at the end of winter/beginning of summer when they're at ridiculous clearance prices. Same with hoodies, sweaters, etc., then I just hold onto them until autumn. That doesn't really help right now, though. But hey, it's an awesome time to buy shorts and swimsuits!

So, did you get a jacket?
