Afternoon All
how many people here are having stuff released? or close to being ready?
has there ever been a list drafted up? |

I've been seriously producing about 3 years and had 3 releases, but I don't think any of them were very good. Way to go yet.
Hardest thing of all is finding your own unique sound. For me I'm trying to find ways to get emmotion and organic quality into my EDM efforts. I make more bad than good tracks for sure. |

dont think that any list has ever been put together but some names that come to mind: storyteller, msz, dirtbox divas, seandroid

do you have a soundcloud?
a nice warm analogue/organic sound can sometimes be hard to fuse in
hardware i feel (esp for the older stuff makes life easier in getting this)
the track Unbreakable myself and mickey made was nearly all oldschool synths, with the odd jp8080 & virus c thrown in, which themselves are old now eh
but yeah it can be tricky, i struggle with getting that vibe sometimes |

i think an active list of producers pro and amateur would be good
i often spend time in here when i can, but don't really know who is who on the production front
people just browsing or... |

Sure it's here - http://soundcloud.com/dirtbox-divas
but bare in mind it's our labaratory so there is stuff on there that is in wip stage / just lame.
I've started using an analogue hardware synth for bass and personally prefer the sounds I'm getting - and I personaly feel I get more control over the sound somehow. Need to get my kicks warmer and more rounded. I'm in colab with another TA guy called Nemmiss 44 on here - he's a great producer and dj and we work well togther. |

its more just a list really than people sharing work, most of the above wouldnt be able to anyhow being signed

Not being funny but what is the point in the list??
Loads of people are signed to labels when quite frankly the tracks are terrible (not necessarily the guys mentioned).
Take what you will of peoples feedback or opinions, regardless of who they are. |
