Great DnB sets

Anyone have recommendations for some excellent drum and bass sets?

Compared to my knowledge of trance and techno, I am shamefully uneducated about what is good in DnB.

:p

Same here. And that's exactly how I want to keep it. :haha:

Finally something I fully can agree to Matt :)

But I'm sure others can be more helpful.

Also interested in this, stuff similar Cybernetika would be cool. I also enjoy some of High Contrast.

The LTJ Bukem Essential Mix from 1995 is great.

DJ Three - Martini DnB from 1995 is also good.

Don't know of many sets, i know there are a few podcasts on iTunes you could check out, one of the more popular and my favourites is Drum And Bass Arena Podcast With The Risky. Love that show.

Dj DB Shades of Technology is great for it's time (1998)

it's always a tough one because many 'live' recordings have MCs. Some of them aren't bad and know when to talk and when not to but others are abysmal. Anyway I'd recommend some promo mixes or podcasts.

Random Movement Podcast

London Elektricity Podcast for Data Transmission

Loadstar DT Podcast (Jump Up style)

Phil Tangent - Soul:ution night - live at Sun & Bass 2011 - some MC but not much at all and not obtrusive

check those out for a start. There are also essential mixes, check out those from Blame, Sub Focus, High Contrast (2), Pendulum (2005 one) and Goldie.

This one always does the trick for me. It's not very clever or varied, and this was pretty much the beginning of the end for the whole Virus-sound, but the bite and impact it has is undeniable. Track 12 is absolutely savage.
