I don't think you've ever seen how these situations really work to erode a woman's ability to protect herself and it's not as though the daughter, who instigated this by posting the video, hasn't both acknowledged her mother's role and also witnessed her mother's predicament.

I don't think that's the whole truth of the matter. Trust me when I tell you that being a "rich" (upper-middle-class) kid in an otherwise ty household isn't all it's cracked up to be. I'd honestly have rather grown up poor. I suspect she's a little relieved, the cord was cut. |
