I want to get the focals but the last time i had a 6.5 inch woofer it didn't give me a full sound like the dynaudio's 8 inch. I never tried a 3 way and maybe i'm wrong so if you can enlighten me that would be nice.

A: you do not need 10 inch cones. Your in a corner of a room that seems like it would have to be small to put you in such a place.
I would get a proper desk
2 lcds
Proper stands for your current monitors
room treatment
and a different location if you can. Those speakers in a corner against the wall must saturate your room with bass.
B: don't sell anything in a recession. Buy. Your TI won't really lose value. So keep that. If you want that pro sound , chuckle, I have 2 UAD 2 quads with almost all the plugins. If you are ready to take that next step. I'm ready to take that money form your pocket book. |

that isn't the issue. You have massive speakers against a wall in the corner or what seems to be a corner. See this is what I don't get. You say you have all this money yet you have 0$ invested in your actual setup roomwise and furniture.
Ikea desk, actually it is an ikea table that costs like 120$. Lowered so that the monitors are at the right heigh. stands were less than 200$. Fill them with cement. Equilateral triangle. Speakers are a little over a foot from the wall. |
