those old episodes were so ruff and dirty. I stopped to listen him many years ago, when he started to play pop music, like 95 percents top DJs nowadays.
Today i was really surprised of 2016 David Guetta track Pelican! Great electro track Bodzin/Huntemann/Tomcraft style. After so many years he made non commercial music and played it in Ultra 2016 Miami belong commercial ! Some top artists still can make a surprise, but not tiesto, hate him all the way. One of the starters make music for money, just like at the fabric. The more stupid and simple, the more money and less time spent. People don't care anyway, they need show and high PRed artists. |

What we can do is just ignore modern parties and music, but attend old school party and show respect for classic Dj sets. More and more classic floors on big events and classic parties. A few days ago i found out, that Andrea Ribeca plays now NU NRG producer sets with old NU NRG trance music. But right after divide of Nu NRG he tried to play some house music. M.I.K.E. also plays more classic sets, than fresh music |

Glad to see you guys here:)
Agree with what was said before. My playlists tracks is like 90% of music from 1999 to 2009. Not a big fan of todays stuff. Still I download some sets when they get recorded as "producer" "classic set" etc. Back in the day the music was all about quality/being unique sound while today everything sounds so generic that you get onto YT and click some fresh trance.. track 1- click play, you listen to it a bit then skip to track 2 - click play, listen a bit and so on.. everything sounds so e that my heart is just bleeding for what used to be made before.
Going back to Tone Diary. Spideros did you manage to solve the 02. ID for episeode #38.. I remember it was full ID and now it's changed to ROWE. Might search through his discography :) |
