Meh, holding a grudge because of another thread that is totally not related to you anyways.

That was a friendly joke, just so you know. ;) Might not be great, but every Pat Metheny fan will see through it. ;)

Firstly, I'm not a "fan", if you read the OP I said my buddy has gotten me into jazz lately. However, I do know Kenny G, and it's an insult to compare Pat Metheny to him.

People put Pat and Kenny in the same bin, even though they are worlds apart. Pat and his fans (including me) hate it, but I find it amusing nevertheless, and I like to think of it as an analogy to Armin van Buuren/J00F.

Out of the PMG work he has done, I like the Still Life (Talking) album the best.

Fair enough, I guess my knowledge of Jazz is limited so I didn't get the joke. You need to work on prefacing things like that so you don't come across as an :p

From PMG: "Question and Answer" is a good album.

I guess my phrasing is really bad too, as I'm not native English speaker. :P

Also, I have to check that album yet!

I saw Rhythm Desperados perform at Agharta Jazz Club in Prague. They were awesome, so I bought "Volcano" :)

Very Latin type of jazz tho

no one played this gem like this man. Greatest jazz pianist ever, his hands were possessed by the devil.
