| Dave Seaman was in Adelaide with Timo Maas a few weeks back for the Renaissance 2001 tour. I wasn't that impressed. Sure it was god-like mixing, just the track selection did not really do much for me. There was no energy. The second half of his set was better. Maybe just in retrospect he paled in comparison to Timo Maas. |

Dave Seaman's sets are kick ass, his mixing is absolutely fantastic, i really need to Download more stuff by him...

Oh don't get me wrong - not giving him !! I just couldn't get into the first half of his set. Maybe it was the crowd - they were VERY unresponsive when he began - maybe he tried to choose tracks to suit the crowd (a good thing) when in fact the crowd was just not ready yet. Like I said once they were hyped the set improved. I dunno...
Don't think I have seen that album around here. New? if not - maybe I'll have to order it... |
