| Hey DJs/Producers, listen up: anyone interested in testing your mixing and production abilities against others? You can put your mix up to the bat against another DJ’s mix and see which one gets higher votes. It’s a great way to increase your visibility as an artist and get more exposure. You can share your music with new fans located throughout different cities and states. Also fun if you’ve got a bit of a competitive nature ;). Starting Saturday (11/12/2011), this option will be available for anyone to use with the launch of a new and improved website. SpinUtopia (www.spinutopia.com) will be offering a free platform for artists of any genre to use and initiate “DJ Battles” with other artists. The people you battle are of your choice- whether it’s a friend, a DJ who spins a different genre, or a random person you come across on the site that interests you.
