I see it like this.
40+40 = 80
80*0 = 0
0+1 = 1
?
But yeah, i suck at mathematics |

Err
40 + 40 * 0 + 1 == 40 + (40*0) + 1. Easy now? |

what ygrene said...
PEMDAS --> 40 + 40 * 0 + 1 = 40 + 40(0) + 1 = 41
This isn't a matter of 'different opinions'. It's basic arithmetic. |

---------------
PEMDAS = Order of Operation
(),^,x,/,+,-
-------------------
So...No () and no ^ so next is x
(40*0) = 0
------------------
Next is +
40+0+1 = 41 |

You guys have this all wrong.
40 + 40 = 80.
40 * 0 is 0.
0 + 1 = 1
So (80 + 0 + 1)i = -9 |

| I have seen some calculations, where you can doubt, because they have been written in a rather twisted way, where you need to keep a good grip on the framework to remember the operator precedence. But this? It's 4th grade maths. |
