YA GUYS!

Anyhow, while I kinda agree, I will tune in for awhile.

But hey, those who are hating, check out the new Anjunabeats album, it's pretty damn good, and pretty fresh.
jonmitz
nothign wrong with anjunabeats, we are talking abour above and beyond here

you cant come into a thread about a&b and talk about how mat zo (who is amazing) makes a&b somehow good by proxy

or maybe im missing something

I think he meant Anjunabeats Vol 9, a compilation mixed by Above & Beyond.
jonmitz
yeah i know, but that doesn't have anything to do with the fact that a&b releases all sound exactly the same (epically garbage vocal trance)

if someone posted a link to a liveset by mat zo i'd watch it in a heartbeat. if mat zo came to sf i'd pay to see him, if a&b came you couldnt pay me to go

erry1 is different though. some people can't get enough kaskade, for example. etards i guess? idk

It is a mix, made by these guys that go by the name of Above & Beyond.
When DJs make a mix for their label, they seem to play a lot of tracks from that mix, i think it's called "promoting" the album.

So basically, to make it really clear what the tie in was:
Above and Beyond always play boring vocal "trance" (i mostly agree here)
Their new mixed album is really different sounding from the usual.
Thus, people who don't like thier sound, could check out their new mix to see if they like the different sound.......:)

jonmitz
fair enough, would still rather see the individual artists playing their own songs on their own night :P

this is the world we live in though...

Naw, then their whole set would be the same every time. Then again, every other genre just plays the same set for every show.

I like to hear a mix of what the label they own has to offer.
