Âme's sound is easily accessible without ever losing deepness, complexity, and a distinct twist. Their inspirations, however diverse they might be, are cleverly quoted but never copied. What started off witha b-side on a sampler for Soulbrother, Dixon's Off-Limits Series, has since then shot off to become a coherent success story. First remix requests from the Truby Trio, Simone Serritella, Jazzanova, Nigel Hayes, Random Factor, Wahoo, and Roy Ayers enabled the duo to show their various disguises under the rooftop of deep house. As we speak the story of Ame continues with pusing the boundaries of new sounds, patterns, and arrangements.
In 2010 Âme's announced plans for a live compilation CD and accompanying tour, 2011 saw that tour come to fruition with shows at Trouw and the Awakenings Festival in Amsterdam, Tunnel in Italy, Dekmantel in Netherlands, and various gigs all over Europe. We at Plastic Love have pegged Âme for their Los Angeles leg and we couldn't be happier to be a part of their debut North American tour.

What's the crowd like there, usually? A friend of mine from back home will be visiting that weekend and he isn't exactly the electronic music type, but he's generally up for a party if the venue and crowd are fun.
A lot going on that night, and I was thinking of going to see Loco but I don't really think he'd have a good time there.

Medusa is smaller, a much more intimate vibe than bigger clubs. The sound is pretty ing stellar for a small spot too, plus Jimmy and I are pretty awesome. So there's that :)
