*my Own Clubnight !!!*

Hello!!!
I will probably have the privilege to run my own clubnight in my home town. The capacity is about 300-400, not very big but big enough to start;).
So I need some sugestions from you, who ever had your own clubnight or anyone else to help me with suggestions... :eyes:
I need some tips on promotion, things that will differ from all the others based on you experiences, some special effects etc...
You know what I mean!!! :stongue: :stongue:
The music policy will be house/prog/light-trance oriented if that helps :eyespop:

| do you have DJ's for the night? and i also believe as Cyrax that lights is one huge thing of/to the night. and the "layout"/scenery is [in my op.] also important. do you have any signs or stuff? and a chill out room/space is kool, for the crowd to take some air or just rest their legs and have a drink etc. and oh, the entrance is very important!! you want the crowd to feel welcome and relaxed and fight for dance (?). as they say: "first impressions last"... or whatever.. :) Good luck! |

My new night launches in October in Glasgow. Was in the venue this weekend and it looks a whole lot bigger now I have to fill it. We are doing loads of crazy pomotions on the opening night and giving away loads of free stuff.
In December we bring over a massive DJ who has never played in our country, can't divulge the details but it will shock some Scottish promoters and media people. Can't wait.
Just do something different, make sure that the people who go to your first night go "Wow, I'm coming back here!" |
