Two years ago, PVD asked Markus if he wanted to sword fight while we were taking a piss in the downstairs Beta bathrooms. Markus' face expression was priceless, PVD was wasted.
True story. Cool story bro. Carry on. :toocool: |

I like how the article started but not where it went after that "Pauly D didn't make our list. He's a douche, but he's not much of a DJ."
I agree on Oakenfold being #1 but the reason why does not really fit. I would post what I know about him but since I am not able to provide proof I will keep my mouth shut. Just trust me, this guy is . Suck saying that in a way because it was his Homelands 1999 set that got me into trance | ]
just post it. we aren't going to report you to oakenfold |

anybody have insight on calvin harris? just by looking at him he looks like a db, but i could be wrong. |
Hes 2/3. I myself and a friend of mine had good experiences with him on separate occasions. I got wasted with the guy at Playhouse Hollywood one night when we just showed up. My friend also said he was really cool with her when she met him.
Yet my buddy in NY almost got into a fight with the guy at one of his gigs. So I'm on the fence there.

I've met a lot of artists and know some on a personal level who make the type of music we're talking about but they're incredible people.
Making music for the masses shouldn't translate into that artist being a douche. |
You're in a differed position than the average fan, so IMO your view isn't a fan perspective. I know because I know a lot of big DJ personally and some are even on that list.
Think of it like hot chick, when you know mutual people and have ties some what to that chick you are in with her. No guard up because you are some what relative to her. But when your some random guy with no ties (fan in this case) gaurd is up and there is no reason for her to be nice to you.
Its the same thing with a lot of big djs. If you are some what relevant you have a different perspective.
David Guetta to this day was one of the nicest most down to earth guy both times I met him. The first time I was completely irrelevant and he was so down to earth and spoke to me for like 20 mins. Second time I met him and his wife and a mutual friend was there so it was even better. But yet I am sure many people thing he sold out and is a db when he's not.
Our beloved EC Twins are actually down to earth guys. I have met them both and partied with them at after parties. They are still horrible djs, but they are cool dudes with big egos to say the least... |

Ive got some great SHARAM douche stories. The night after Giant Village 2006 we all headed over to Avalon to see Markus play afterhours. Sharam was with us up on the stage acting like a total sloppy douche and had previously submerged his sweaty t shirt in some of the worst cologne Ive ever smelt.
Ive seen Andy Moor act a fool on plenty occasions as well(more of just a drunk douche). Hes up there for me in terms of personal encounters with dj douche. Ill never forget when he basically body slammed himself into the circus trash cans lol |

It's funny how Dennis Romero, the writer of the article, lists Afrojack as one of the top 5 douches and embeds "the greatest hits" parody in the article. I reposted the parody on FB from whoever posted it here on TA and Romero hit me up with the questions like, "Isn't it a little too soon for him to be coming out with a greatest hits album? I never heard of him until last year."
I kept on telling him to listen to the SoundCloud clip, but he wouldn't do it. He just wanted to keep commenting on Afrojack releasing a greatest hits album. I think he replied like 18 times saying, "No, I haven't listened to the clip. I don't need to."
It took forever for him to realize it was a joke. He thought it was serious. When I told him, "I don't think you get it," he replied, "Oh, I get it, why don't you google me and see what I have done."
LOL
:haha: |

Angello, Deadmau5, Tritonal, Paul van Dyk, Benny Bennasi and former NBA player turned DJ Rony Seikley should be added to that list. I've met all of these people except the first two losers but have had friends who nearly have gotten into fights with them. As for the rest, they have absolutely no respect for their fans and treat people like .
Tritonal can suck a fat dick if they think they are talented as DJs, they are awful at mixing and track selection. Paul van Dyk needs to wake up and realize this isn't 2004. Benny Bennasi hopefully goes deaf like we have from his random noises he calls tracks. Rony Seikley can go back to the NBA and suck because he has no business yelling at people for asking him for a track selection |
never had an issue with PvD, always chilled and laid back. Maybe your "friend" was being douche when he met him... as for the rest i can agree, oh and you can add guetta thank you |
