Logic Playback problem during mixing

I'm having a major problem in my logic session trying to finish mixing my track. Logic decided it doesn't want to playback my song when I want it to lol. When I click play, all I hear is a loud pop noise. The tracks show that they're playing but there's no sound. I've been reading about disk overload because the HD meter does go in the red at first, but could this still be an issue if I'm running all audio tracks ? I do have several mixingplugins loaded throughout the track (Vintagewarmer, cytomic glue, etc..), but I feel that my computer should be able to run them fine. I have a macbook pro i7, 8gb ram 7200rpm hd with a mickey mouse m-audio interface. Any ideas?

...I actually just tried it again and now I'm only getting a left signal. What's funny is that the main project file with over 30 synth tracks runs fine. Any help is appreciated. Thanks..

Try bypassing any/all plugins you have running one by one, especially the ones on the master bus if you have any. See if that sorts it out and report back.

Lol you know what's funny...I had already tried that before but I only bypassed the major plugins I was using. This time I turned everything off and it started working. So what does this mean? Is this a matter of computing power?

it's a well known logic problem. you have to find the guilty plug-in, remove it, and re-instantiate it. problem is mostly solved with that.
