Some background...

We had avicii Friday night. I was at the office at noon that day, worked til 3:30, drove to armory, stayed there til 2:30am. Went to office at 3am and uploaded photo and did video til 7.

19 hours. I slept from 7:30-12.

Woke up Saturday at 12 - went to office til 3:30, armory from 4pm to 2:30am.

now im at the office uploading armin photo and video...

BUT.. the fact that I saw so many NY cats at Armin tonight, and he spin for 6 hours - it made my year. MADE. MY. YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my highlight was kiksu. Tonight's the first time I can honestly say that I love DC - but that's cause there were so many NY faces :-)

and cause tonight blew last night out of the water (did i just say that?)

Amazing

Wowwwza!! Glow threw a hell of a party and Armin sure didn't disappoint. I would love to see a tracklist. This drives back to NY is well worth it. Great night!!:eyespop:

SiriusXM recorded it - I believe it'll air on A State of Sundays - so like... now?

The highlight for me was Kiksu. He dropped it and I went buck wild. My boy who works the booth security told me that was the hardest he's seen me dance in the 2 years he's known me.

K&A FTW!!!

It was a great night. Armin took his time to build it up, but he hammered it during the last 2 hours. I was moving the whole night.

Highlight of the night - Shogun - Skyfire. When Armin dropped it - the place blew up.

It was also great to hear some of my favorites this year - Between the Rays, Mansion etc.

The armory is an excellent event space. Huge arena, fairly clean and well laid out, right next to the metro stop - I'm a fan. Also, given the number of people who attended, it was well organized. The only issue I noted was the lack of a coat check. There were a lot of people, but I never felt crowded out.

$10 for 24oz Coronas - made my night! The promoters did a great job - the trip was totally worth it.

Wow, looked really good. He needs to do that here in the city soon!

Ill be honest, i felt that his set was a little upside down, it started off hard, got soft and harmonic, and then he never pick it back up as i would have liked him to. That being said i did have tons of fun, the venue was great. Lots of room, temperature was fine and yet tons of people.

Greatest surprise of the night for me was hearing right back. wow. Unbelievable show. And the crowd was MUCH better than for avicii. At avicii, there were people barrelling through the crowd for just what seemed like kicks. I was getting bumped around constantly, just zero respect. At Armin, the crowd was much more mature and the only time i got rammed all night was by a 200 pound beast of female who was so drunk she was just waffling around and she(it?) proceeded to give me the middle finger after I returned the favor with an elbow after the 5th time of her almost bowling me over.

Every single time I see Armin I'm blown away by his energy. For the entire 6 hours he was just as pumped as everyone in the crowd and always engaging. He truly has no equal in that regard. Knowing that he is having as much fun as we are makes a real difference

One of the best nights of my life

Heres's a video of him playing Mansion. One of my favorites this year:
